At Childeric we aim to run many after school clubs for the children. All our clubs are led by staff members or outside club leaders well known to the school who have passed appropriate checks. Clubs take place after school nearly every night of the week and are hugely varied. The clubs that we offer change every half term and they are open to children in Key Stage 2. Some examples of clubs we have run in the past include:
- Football club
- ICT club
- Cricket club
- Dance club
- Basketball club
- Athletics club
- Comic book club
- Newspaper club
- Cooking club
- Creativity club
- Chess club
- Problem solving club (and many more!)
Some children in Year 6 are also invited to booster clubs closer to the time of the Key Stage 2 SATs tests in order to help them revise.
Places for clubs are taken quickly so it is important to return club application letters as soon as possible to the office.
