School Council
The School Council meets regularly with the Headteacher or Deputy Headteacher to discuss issues, for example, behaviour and fundraising events.
There are two children from every class (Years 2 - 6) and they were elected by their classmates to represent the views of all pupils to help improve our school.
Ambassadors
Our School Ambassadors are children in Year 6 who applied for their positions and were selected through being interviewed. They were chosen because we believe that through their skills, behaviour and achievements they display a quality that means they can represent Childeric and be excellent role models for all pupils.
They have a variety of important jobs which can include showing visitors around the school, helping at events and assisting the school office team.
Other Roles
Young Interpreters
Our young interpreters play an important role at Childeric and we are very proud of them. They are children that are fluent in their mother tongue and in English. They support younger children that speak the same language and help them to develop their English.
They are also used to interpret for adults when required, for example, if a visitor or parent comes to the office and speaks only a little English then a young interpreter can be called to assist to ensure that we are able to help.
